At QUED-UP, we often say that technology can change lives—but only if people have access to it.
Every day, students are expected to complete homework online, adults apply for jobs through digital platforms, entrepreneurs build businesses using technology, and families access healthcare, banking, and education through the internet. Yet thousands of families throughout the Chicago area still lack access to a reliable computer.
That's why computer donations have become one of the most important parts of QUED-UP's mission.
Closing the Digital Divide
For many people, owning a computer is something they take for granted.

It can mean finishing homework at home instead of waiting for library hours.

Since our founding, QUED-UP has proudly donated more than 650 computers to students, families, nonprofits, schools, entrepreneurs, and community organizations throughout the Chicago area.
Every computer represents someone whose opportunities expanded because they had the tools they needed to succeed.
