Chauncy-Student Intern, Animating Cartoons

After hosting an intern through our summer program in collaboration with School District 214, QUED Animations shot a video to highlight the initiative. During the internship, we learned that the student did not have a functional computer at home. To address this, we reached out to our friends and collected their old computers, which we then distributed to students in need.
In addition to providing hardware, we allowed students to remotely access our studio computers, giving them access to the necessary software. This led to the creation of QUED-UP, a non-profit organization with the mission of empowering the next generation of creatives and artists who are interested in the graphics industry. We offer 2D animation and cartoon creation classes to children aged 5 to 17. To learn more about our organization, please visit our website at qued-up.org.

Testimonials
My time with QUED-UP has been incredibly enriching. Here I’ve gained not only the skills to make myself valuable in the workplace but the confidence to accomplish new things. Q has served as a mentor, always guiding and advising me when I hit a wall and don’t know how to proceed. It’s his trust and confidence in me what allows me to give work my all without fear of failure. The positive environment and the support received as well as the dedication put into every task is what makes QUED-UP stand out from any other working experience I’ve had.Alanis Davila
I’ve worked with this company for a few months for my internship. Having to work with Q has allowed me to find what I want to do with my art career. Q showed me the basics of animation and the process of it. I learned and used different programs along the way. I was able to finish a 2D animation relating with my characters. I’m glad with the end product and grateful for QUED-Up for taking me as their intern. 🙂Lanna Vo
