QUED-UP is a nonprofit organization formed in Northbrook Illinois in January 2023 by Developers and Animators who believe in education as much as entertainment. The objective of QUED-UP is to provide a quality and equitable educational program to students who are interested in the Animation and Visual Graphics industries. While also providing the software and hardware necessary to successfully navigate through the program.

QUED-Up's goal is to remedy these limitations, address a critical need of the community, and establish a lifelong relationship with the underprivileged students by granting them access to the tools necessary to pursue a career in the design industry.

This would produce a stream of income for students that would not otherwise have access to these resources or can afford college. It will also create a supply of capable employees within an industry that has a gap in employment supply.

QUED-UP will recruit specialized and trained educators who work in the technology industry to teach subject matters pertaining to Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Metaverse, Game Development, and Custom Software Development. All are skills of the future. We would like to certify students with these industries, so that students are ready to go into the job market knowledgeable and have experience working on real world projects and not just class assignments. A select few would be employed to aid in current client-based projects that we have available.

Currently we are taking on more apprentices and teaching them animation as we have done so in our case study of previous students. QUED-UP recommendations are to establish the use of 2D animation to teach kids confidence within the software. Once kids are comfortable using these tools the process of advanced software becomes easier.
